Pleasure as a pathway to feminine radiance
with Nadia Setzer

Where does pleasure rank on your to-do list? Are you really good at taking care of everyone else, but tend to put your own desires and needs last? Do you often feel exhausted, turned-off, and depleted at the end of the day? If so, then I hope you’ll join me for this mini-workshop on the importance of pleasure in a woman’s life! Together, we will: Discover why pleasure is such an essential ingredient to a woman’s radiance and magnetism. Begin to honor and prioritize your relationship to your own pleasure. Come up with specific ways (individualized to you!) to bring pleasure into your daily life. When a woman is turned on to her pleasure, she glows. She becomes magnetic. She radiates joy, love, and confidence. A woman like that can change the world. I want us all to become that woman. Please bring a pen and your favorite journal!

Nadia Setzer is passionate about reconnecting women to their pleasure, body wisdom, and sensuality as pathways to their feminine radiance. She believes that every woman deserves to live a life bursting with pleasure, joy, and abundance. Through specific practices and daily rituals, she helps women reignite their inner-strength, spiciness, and feminine wisdom so that they can live a more nourishing and turned-on life. MANIFESTING YOUR HEART’S DESIRE
with Kezia Renee Lechner
Reiki Master and Intuitive Life Coach
(also on June 29)

In this time of planetary change, many of us are going through our own time of change and transformation . We are letting go of places we live, careers, relationships, letting go of habitual patterns and ingrained beliefs that no longer serve us.But sometimes we feel unclear and fearful about moving forward. We’re not sure of what it is we want, what to envision and how best to bring it forth into this physical reality. We simply know we want more. Join me for an experiential evening of hands-on Intuitive Life Coaching and Energy Healing work.

If the group is small, I will provide short individual sessions for each person. If the group is large, I will work with as many people as I’m able. Fulfilling external change always involves making internal shifts and spring is an opportune time for doing this. Our time together will help you gain clarity about where you are now, where you would like to go, and action steps you might take to create more of what you desire.

Kezia Renee Lechner recently moved to this area from Philadelphia. She offers private sessions and hosts a monthly, sliding scale Healing Clinic in Chapel Hill. Formerly a professional artist, she was a member of a National Artist’s Coaching Community for over a decade. Drawn to the Healing Arts, she became a Reiki Master in 1999, explored a number of other healing modalities and soon after established her own practice. Over the years, as her sensitivity to energy and her intuitive abilities grew, she began to combine Intuitive Life Coaching with Reiki/Energy Healing, a blend she finds highly powerful and effective in helping clients move forward in their lives. Slow Down For Poetry

Slow Down for Poetry is a Chapel Hill based trio, made up of Keirsten Alexandria, Ondrea Austin, and Larry Bach. Brought together by their individual love of music across genres, their soulful covers of artists such as The Civil Wars, Amy Winehouse, and Joni Mitchell bring a sense of joy and familiarity to their performances, while their originals allow the audience a glimpse into what makes this trio tick. Whether singing a cover or original these three singers connect with the heart and soul of the stories their songs tell.  We like to think we have a soulful, heart-opening sound. Come join us in creating Sacred Space with the Guardians of the Directions, (Divine Beings that all ancient and indigenous peoples worked with), to receive healing energies and messages that will enliven your spirit and help you embrace your own heart’s wisdom. After briefly sharing of our experiences we will sit in meditation bringing Light and Love to Mother Earth and All Our Relations.

Her 30-year eclectic background includes a four-year apprenticeship in Native American spirituality and healing, and independent studies in Women’s Mysteries, Archeo-Astronomy, the Mystical Branches of the World’s Major Religions, plus a cross-cultural study of ancient and indigenous people’s perception of the land, space, and time.

In 1992 she founded “Awakening the Heart!” spiritual healing practice, was ordained as an Alliance of Divine Love, interfaith Minister in 1993, and has practiced as a professional astrologer since 1980. Memoirs of an Ex-Hippie: Seven Years in the Counterculture

A one-man play by author and Oasis founder Robert Roskind, set to photos and the music of the era!

The counterculture of the 60s and 70s has been viewed as everything from naive to hedonistic. However, most of these views were formed by observing the movement from the outside. “Memoirs of an Ex-Hippie” offers a vastly different perspective, one developed from within. After graduating college in 1968, Robert Roskind hit the road for seven years. Roskind’s travels lead him into the heart of the counterculture–to Esalen Institute, Tassajara Hot Springs, Big Sur, Vancouver Island, the communes of Oregon and North Carolina, Altamont Pop Festival, Mt. Shasta, the Haight-Ashbury and the “motherland”–Northern California. His personal odyssey, sometimes profane and funny, sometimes profound and serious, reveals this tumultuous era as a cultural and spiritual renaissance that birthed many of the solutions to problems humanity now faces.

MERobert Roskind is the author of twelve books including Rasta Heart: A Journey into One Love, The Beauty Path: A Native American Journey into One Love, The Gathering of the Healers, In the Spirit of Marriage and In the Spirit of Business. He is also the producer of a record-breaking PBS series and the organizer of over 200 One Love Events in the U.S. and Jamaica. He lives in Carrboro and operates the Oasis.

Sound, Breath and Meditation Workshop
With Dante Baker, 200 Hour RYT

Experience sounds from the Tibetan and modern crystal bowl during the breathing exercises and meditation to re-harmonize the entire body. Allow the sound vibrations to soothe the mind, clear any blockages within the body and guide you into the present moment.

All levels of practitioners are welcome to deepen their understanding, heighten their awareness and strengthen application of meditation and breathing exercises while using Tibetan Singing and Modern Singing Bowls. Discover how controlled breathing not only keeps the mind and body functioning optimally, but it will also lower blood pressure, promote a calm and relaxing mind-set and help students de-stress.

Different Meditation techniques can relax the body while keeping the mind singularly focused. When this is done regularly, a deep sense of inner peace, mental clarity and tranquility is cultivated with the practitioner.

Throughout history many ancient civilizations and cultures have used crystals and stones for a numerous purposes such as healing, meditating, activating and strengthening psychic abilities. Within the last century, modern society has discovered, and continues to discover, the powerful and healing effects the singing bowls can produce with the backing of science. The quality of the materials and the structure of these bowls are highly important as these two foundations are what produce the harmonic sounds; while Tibetan bowls are made of brass and copper, crystal bowls are formed from mostly pure crushed quartz and heated in high boiling temperature in a centrifugal shape. The sounds that are created when the bowls are struck with a mallet, release a powerful and potent sound vibration, with the larger bowls creating a deeper and longer reverberation due to the size and amount of crystal used. Each bowl is tested with digital technology to identify its unique sound, with each sound corresponding to a particular note, similar to notes of a piano.

Dante Baker has been a native to the Washington DC area his entire life, growing up in Reston, VA. Since his childhood years, Dante has always had a fascination with the human anatomy and all of its abilities to heal, move, and process. This interest led Dante to studying and receiving certifications through AFAA and NASM in 2007. As he pursued personal training he worked with wide a range of clients such as over-weight clients, young athletes and elderly adults. As he gained more experience and confidence in his teaching he extended his expertise to larger classes such as boot camp, athletic conditioning, kids physical education, kickboxing and body pump.

Dante personally trains and sees private clients for massage, physical exercise and Reiki, teaches meditation, yoga, qi gong classes, performs crystal and Tibetan Sound Concerts. His personal philosophy is that the body has an innate wisdom within itself and the tools and services he provides, allows the body to perform the healing that it knows how to do.
