SFQer Rachel Pollard and Jenny Parker speaking on Master Lin’s upcoming March
Heal Yourself and Others with Spring Forest Qigong

Jenny Parkeris a certified teacher and healer in the practice of Spring Forest Qigong. She developed her command of this ancient science under the tutelage of International Grand Master Chunyi Lin.

Master Lin created Spring Forest Qigong (SFQ) in the belief that everyone is born with the power to heal – ourselves and others. He has introduced this powerful, streamlined qigong practice to more than a quarter million people around the world during the past 25 years. On February 22, 23, and 24, Master Lin will return to the Triangle for a 3-hour introduction to Qigong Healing and Private Healing Sessions for the fourth year.

Jenny Parker is a member of the first group to complete SFQ’s stringent teacher and healer certification programs. She has led SFQ Practice Groups in the area for the past nine years and was named SFQ Practice Group Leader of the Year in 2017. She says that one of her greatest joys is in learning from her students as she shares the beauty and simplicity of SFQ – to help each person develop a practice that becomes uniquely their own.”

Rachel Pollard, MS, OTR/L has 20 years’ experience as an occupational therapist in a variety of traditional healthcare settings. Her passion for deep self-care practices and healing opened the door to studying alternative health modalities.

This journey led her to seek training with Grand Master Chunyi Lin, creator of Spring Forest Qigong. After experiencing a full healing of a knee injury during a Spring Forest Qigong event, she dedicated the past four years to learning, practicing and guiding others in applying the principles of SFQ in their daily lives. She is a graduate of the first Spring Forest Qigong Certified Healer program at Energy Healing International and a Certified Practice Group leader.

Staying Hopeful & Positive During the Coming Transitions
with author and Oasis owner Robert Roskind

What did these “teachers of love” remember that we can also – and by doing so, change the world? Buddha (Buddhist), Jesus (Jewish), Gandhi (Hindu), MLK (Baptist), Bob Marley(Rasta), Mandela (Methodist), Mother Teresa (Catholic), Tutu (Anglican), Muhammed Ali (Muslim), Mister Rogers (ordained Presbyterian minister), and the Dalai lama (Tibet Buddhist). They remembered that a Loving Creator had sent them here to transform all the circumstances into which they were sent through love. And without political, economic or military power, they did.

They demonstrated that the power of love, when expressed through us, can overcome great obstacles. They are the way showers and now we manifesting hundreds of thousands of us, and soon millions, that are remembering and transforming the situations into which we are sent. This is how the world will be awakened. It was our Creator’s design all along that after a long and painful “detour into fear,” His/Her children would once again remember their own Divinity. All is on perfect Divine schedule – no matter how it may appear.

Robert Roskind is the author of twelve books including Rasta Heart: A Journey into One Love, The Beauty Path: A Native American Journey into One Love, The Gathering of the Healers, In the Spirit of Marriage and In the Spirit of Business. He is also the producer of a record-breaking PBS series and the organizer of over 200 One Love Events in the U.S. and Jamaica. He lives in Carrboro and operates the Oasis.

CLIMATE DESTABILIZATION: OUR LONG SLOW EMERGENCY

VIDEO & DISCUSSION NIGHT ~ 2nd Sunday of each month, 6:30-8:30pm

We are at a crossroads in our history. We are on the precipice of destroying our habitat, the very earth that gives us sustenance and supports life. Our multiple challenges of climate change, deforestation, overgrazing, fisheries collapse, food insecurity, and the rapid extinction of species are all part of a single, over-arching problem: Humanity has overshot the carrying capacity of the Earth.

Join with others willing to honestly face our situation and have the most important discussion of our lives: how we pull out of our ecological nosedive and transition to a life-affirming global culture, an earth community of sustainability, justice, and peace!

We show a different video each session and discuss a range of important issues and options to address them. For detailed information on each session, see https://betseydowning.com/upcoming-events/ . Information will be posted 5-6 days prior to the event.

The Harmonies of 4 and the

Art of Balance

A conversation with Kenneth Turner, PhD (Board Secretary for the Jung Society of the Triangle)
http://jungnc.org/

The smaller integers (0, 1, 2, 3, etc.) are what Carl Jung has described as ‘Archetypes,’ objects wired into our unconscious minds as human beings which form the broad general structures of our inner lives. Looking at some of the many examples of ‘fourness’ in our ideas and experience, we will attempt to see, and if necessary, create, more balance and wholeness in our daily lives.

Carl Jung, arguably the most important psychologist of the last century, was first a younger colleague and later a rival of Sigmund Freud. In contrast to Freud’s materialistic model of our human nature, which sought to increase happiness by adjusting us to the demands of society, Jung had a more expanded view of humanity. He sought, not adjustment, but becoming who we were meant to be as individuals, a process he called ‘individuation’.

Kenneth Turner brings a variety of life experience to his work with people. He earned a PhD in Physics (Princeton, 1962), an MA in Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology (University of West Georgia, 2007), and passed the National Counselors exam. He has been an astronomer, an administrator, a federal bureaucrat, an executive at a high tech start-up company, a college professor, an entrepreneur, and a psychotherapist. He has married, helped raise children (his own and others), lived abroad, been widowed twice, and retired. Kenneth holds certifications in the Body Centered Transformation work of Gay and Katlyn Hendricks, and in the Enneagram approach of Kathy Hurley and Theodorre Donson. He is an authorized facilitator for the Institute of Noetic Sciences Conscious Aging program and has been involved with Jungian psychology for more than fifty years.  http://jungnc.org/

Guidance-based Decision Making from the Heart, Mind & Spirit
with Belinda Macri of Clearwater Retreat & Robert Roskind of Oasis

Decision making – it defines much of our life, who we really are as a person and how much joy or pain, success or failure we create in our lives. Most of our decisions are effected, even warped, by our fears, ego, pleasuring, romantic fantasies, and/or our desires to be perceived in a certain way by others.

There is, however, a clearer way to make decisions in our lives, both large and small and that is to release as much fear and ego defining as possible and open to guidance from your Higher Self. It will be offered, both through outer signs and inner guidance. It leads us to our true path that we incarnated here to walk.

Belinda’s journey has been rich in healing.  She owns and operates Clearwater Retreat, the perfect place for body/mind/spirit healing,  her passion for her work is evident.  Her journey both personally and then achieving certifications as an Ayurvedic Consultant (lifestyle practices), Hatha Yoga Instructor, Meditation Teacher and Health Coach working with people with Lyme, Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue.

Robert Roskind is the author of twelve books including Rasta Heart: A Journey into One Love, The Beauty Path: A Native American Journey into One Love, The Gathering of the Healers, In the Spirit of Marriage and In the Spirit of Business. Close Encounters of the 5th Kind (CE-5)
Human-Initiated-Contact
Video and 20-minute Meditation

with Oasis founder Robert Roskind, author of A Guide for an Awakening Planet

CE-5 stands for Close Encounters of the Fifth kind which means that it is possible for us “humans” to invoke encounters with extraterrestrial life forms. It is what we call Human Initiated Contact. The term CE-5 was created by Dr. Steven Greer. He is the founder of the CSETI project and is the worlds most renowned researcher in regard to extraterrestrial life. Dr. Steven Greer has also been fighting for more than 20 years against the UFO secrecy that is being kept in place by many governments and against the military and industrial complex who want to keep the ET technology hidden from public because it would mean the end of our fossil fuel consumption as we know it.

Also, there will be several videos of Steven Greer and Grant Cameron with them discussing the Star People’s proven reality and how there are no “evil aliens,” only those who are assisting us in transforming our planet from fear to love and providing technology that will allow us a pollution-free, healthy future.
